Chapter 35, Part 7: The 15-Year Curriculum I Never Planned to Create
I never sat down fifteen years ago and decided I was going to create a curriculum for helping people transform their lives. I was simply trying to understand myself. Over the years, that exploration took me through yoga, meditation, therapy, coaching, spirituality, breathwork, feelings and needs work, self-exploration, entrepreneurship, and eventually deeper experiences with plant medicine and integration.
The first decade was largely about learning who I was. What did I actually feel? What did I need? What did I believe? What belonged to me and what had I inherited? What did I want? What did I value? These questions sound simple until you realize how many of us were taught to make decisions based on expectations, approval, productivity, or survival rather than our own internal compass.
Then came another chapter: taking everything I had learned internally and figuring out how it translated into the real world. Money. Business. Leadership. Entrepreneurship. Relationships. Decision-making. Purpose. It became increasingly clear to me that personal transformation isn't very useful if it never changes how you actually live. Insight needs somewhere to go.
That's ultimately what my coaching work is about. I'm not interested in giving someone another list of things they “should” be doing. I'm interested in helping people understand themselves well enough to make different choices—and then giving them the practical strategy to turn those choices into reality. Health. Wealth. Happiness. Not as three separate goals, but as three pieces of one life.
My coaching philosophy was built through experience long before it had a name. Health + Wealth + Happiness is the curriculum I never planned to create—but spent years living.
